In order to explore the traffic congestion situation of the sections where Sun Yat-Sen Freeway has not been widened and there is no alternative road, this study focuses on the flow of cars of the Neili to Yangmei sedan of the Sun Yat-Sen Freeway in the ETC data, and discusses the unwidened section of the Sun Yat-Sen Freeway after the opening of the Wugu Yangmei elevated road, Yangmei to Toufen traffic is more congested than the widened section of the Neili to Yangmei. This study used the Hadoop HDFS platform , to explore Data Mining using Python and Weka software.
The results of the study and analysis show that the traffic flow is the most weekday commute period, of which Yangmei south section of traffic far more than the north of Yangmei, in the holiday period, the difference in traffic flow is less than weekday, but Yangmei south is higher than Yangmei north. In addition, another study found that when the Wugu Yangmei elevated road increased Yangmei "North Entrance, South Exit" interchange, it did divert the traffic flow of the Yangmei section of the Sun Yat-Sen Freeway. From the Results of the study, it is concluded that the Wugu Yangmei elevated road is necessary to extend southward, so as to extend the road to relieve the traffic saturation of Sun Yat-Sen Freeway in Hsinchu area.
