Methods: Questionnaire survey method. This study took a Private junior high school students in Pingtung in the 107th school year as the research subject. With "leisure participation, leisure benefit and learning effectiveness questionnaire" as a research tool. A total of 580 questionnaires were issued, and 548 valid questionnaires were obtained. The effective recovery rate was 94.5%. The data was collected and processed with the SPSS20.0 as the tool of statistical analysis to run the results of descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, single-factor variation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, regression analysis, etc. The results of the research: (1) The top type of leisure participation activities in junior high school students was “physical activities”; the top leisure benefit was "physical and psychological"; the top learning effectiveness was "skills and affection". (2) There was a significant difference in leisure participation to the different gender, grade, club join or not, participation in school teams, and mother profession. (3) There was a significant difference in leisure benefits to the different grade, club join or not, participation in school teams, and father profession. (4) There was a significant difference in learning effectiveness to the different gender, grade, club join or not, and father profession. (5) There were significant positive correlation of junior high school students between leisure participations, leisure benefits and learning effectiveness. (6) Physical activity can effectively predict physiological and psychological benefits, social benefits. Art cultural activies, outdoor activities, and physical activitity can effectively predict skills and affection, overall learning effectiveness. Art cultural activies and outdoor activities can effectively predict cognition. Physiological and psychological benefits, social benefits can effectively predict skills and affection, cognition and overall learning effectiveness.
