In the current situation of our country, the National Fire Agency is the actual administrative unit of the government’s mountain rescue mechanism. The fire department is part of the public sector, and it has three major tasks: emergency rescue, disaster rescue and fire prevention. The mountain accident is closely related to people's life safety. Therefore, it is an urgent task to strengthen the awareness of firefighters' risk perception and enrich their professional competency of rescue to improve their service quality, efficiency, and to protect the rights and interests of the people. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship among firefighters' risk perception, professional competency and self-efficacy of mountain rescue. The subjects of this research are 287 firefighters in Pingtung County. The research instruments are "Firefighter Risk Perception, Professional Competency and Self-Efficacy Scale". Using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis to perform data analysis. The results of the study indicate: (1) The various dimensions of risk perception have positive correlation with the overall self-efficacy. The time risk and duty risk dimensions can effectively predict the overall self-efficacy, and its predictive power reach to 22.1%. (2) The various dimensions of professional competency have positive correlation with the overall self-efficacy. The professional knowledge and professional executive attitude dimensions can effectively predict the overall self-efficacy and its predictive power reach to 33.4%. The conclusion obtained from the research is as followed: The firefighters’time risk and duty risk dimensions can effectively predict the overall self-efficacy, and the professional knowledge and professional executive attitude dimensions can effectively predict the overall self-efficacy. In the future, strengthening firefighters' risk perception and professional competency of mountain rescue will effectively improve their self-efficacy. LIU JAU DA 劉兆達 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 107 zh-TW |
