碩士 === 明道大學 === 設計學院設計及規劃碩士班 === 107 === The microblading industry emerges from people’s pursuit of aesthetics and convenience. The Taiwanese cosmetic industry has actively promoted microblading services. However, the training systems for microblading artists and related personnel in Taiwan are inconsistent. Therefore, this study explored the processes of passing down microblading knowledge and techniques to discuss the development of the microblading industry and dissemination related industrial knowledge. This is expected to facilitate the sustainable development of Microblading techniques and services. A qualitative research design was employed by conducting in-depth interviews with five famous and experienced microblading artists in Taiwan. Related data were collected and verified to reveal that microblading techniques and knowledge in Taiwan were mostly passed down through apprenticeship or personal tutoring. Few schools or credible institutions have offered related training courses; this became the greatest obstacle impeding the passing down and development of microblading knowledge and techniques. In the future, a system should be established to pass down microblading knowledge and techniques, integrate industrial and human resources, create credible institutions, and promote related certificates. In addition, international exchange platforms can be established to host related competitions and improve technique standards. Accordingly, a comprehensive system for passing down microblading knowledge and techniques can be realized.
