The research contents were included the current status of family resources and learning effectiveness; differences between students backgrounds and family resources, and learning effectiveness; relationships and models for family resources and learning effectiveness of junior high school students in Taiwan. This study used SPSS and SmartPLS for statistical analyses and confirmation of the model. A total of 9,685 questionnaires were sent to Taiwan's high school students. Among these questionnaires, the missing values and invalid answers were removed, and 5,938 valid questionnaires were collected. For the follow-up research, this study used descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, One-Way MANOVA, and structural equation modeling (SEM). Results of the study summarized as follows: (a) the present situations of family resources is insufficient and learning effectiveness is in good condition for junior high school students in Taiwan; (b) there were differences among student with different backgrounds in family resources and learning effectiveness; (c) the model showed that student family resources had strong significant positive influence on learning effectiveness. This study finally proposed conclusions and solid suggestions as references for educational administrators, junior high school teachers, and future research.
