碩士 === 康寧大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 107 === The main purpose of this study was to understand the study of the work stress, school climate and school effectiveness of elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan—taking Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. The researchers collect relevant literature and summarize. Design questionnaires and the data were collected by the questionnaire survey method. The population came from the teachers of Taichung City and Changhua County. 307 questionnaires were effectively collected for the study. The valid samples were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression. The conclusions were as follows: 1. The current situation of the work pressure of elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan was found good.—Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 2. The current situation of the school climate of elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan was in a good level.—Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 3. The current situation of the school effectiveness of elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan was in a good level.—Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 4. There were significant differences existed of the work stress among teachers’ gender, positions, school size and school area. 5. There was no significant difference existed of the work stress among teachers’ age and seniority. 6. There were signigicant differences existed of the school climate among teachers’ gender, age, positions and school size. 7. There was no significant difference existed of the school climate among teachers’ seniority and school area. 8. There was significantly negetive correlation betwwn the work stress and the school climate for elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan.-- Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 9. There was significantly negetive correlation betwwn the work stress and the school effectiveness for elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan. Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 10. There was significantly positive correlation betwwn the school climate and the school effectiveness for elementary school teachers in centual Taiwan. Taichung City and Changhua County as examples. 11. The work stress and the school climate could effectively predict school effectiveness.
