In this study, we tried to review the drainage facilities of Wuluo River in Pingtung County. Through hydrological analysis and hydraulic calculation, the peak water level and peak discharge of Wuluo River and its tributaries can be estimated. It can be used to check and improve the height of existing embankments to meet flood protecting standard. In the other way, flood detention facilities is installed at the downstream low-land area to reduce peak discharge.
