Summary: | 碩士 === 中華醫事科技大學 === 視光系碩士班 === 107 === The refractive status of the human eye continues to change and grow during the growth and development process. When the eyeball is in front of the posterior axis, there are different axial lengths due to multiple factors inside and outside the individual.
In aspect of physiology, archaeologists can often judge the size of the animal's body shape from the size and shape of the animal’s bones. In genetics, since many literatures pointed out that myopia occurring, parents have myopia are more likely to their child get myopia.
In this study, the refractive diopter of the participants was measured by the computerized examine refractive error device, NIDEK ARK-510A and the axial length measuring instrument TOMEY AL-100 to examine the axial length of the eye.The results of this study showed that axial length of the 24.6mm compared with refractive diopter, were -1.00D 26.6mm of, while axial length were -7.00D. It can be seen that higher the refractive diopter, longer the axial length. Comparing length of the eye axis, the longer eye length, the higher body height will be. In aspects of axial length and heredity, it is found that when either both parents or one parent has myopia, the child has a high probability of myopia. However, there is a negative relationship between the axial length and body type. The shorter axial length may have getting fatter of higher probability.
