Description
Summary:碩士 === 弘光科技大學 === 護理研究所 === 107 === Abstract The purpose of the research was to understand the actual situation and the correlation of the body images, dietary habits, exercise behavior of the high school students, and to analyze the influence factors of the body images, dietary habits, and exercise behavior. Cross-sectional survey was applied in this study. Taking the high school students in the tenth to the twelfth grades in a high school in the middle of Taiwan as the research objects. Stratified sampling method was adopted to collect four hundred and eighty-four valid questionnaires from students of different major, grades, and sex. The rating scales of the personal information, body images, dietary habits, exercise behavior of the high school students were distributed and retrieved. All the data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 and the methods included were frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, independent t test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation, and Multiple Regression. The results of analysis are as follows: 1.48.1 % of the subjects were males, and those with Normal or Healthy Weight were the majority (63.3%), while 29.8 % of them were Overweight and Obese. About 40% of them were conscious that they were overweight or obese, and half attempted reducing weight. 2.The averages of the whole body images was 95.94±11.88, which including 4 dimensions: the appearance evaluation, the appearance orientation, the overweight concern, and the body part satisfaction reaching 19.95 ± 4.55 (with the total of 35), 42.47 ± 7.14 (with the total of 70), 9.20 ± 3.06(with the total of 20), and 24.32 ± 11.88 (with the total of 40) respectively. 3.The averages of the whole dietary behavior was 88.79 ± 10.91 (with thetotal of 130), which including 2 dimensions; the averages of the dietary behavior, and of the dietary attitude reach 57.37 ± 8.35, and 31.41 ± 4.13, respectively. 4.The average of the exercise participation was 11.09 ± 9.27 (while the standard of teenager exercise participation is 18.) 5.The relations among the body image, the dietary behavior, and the exercise participation have all presented a positive relationship. 6.The regression analysis revealed that 7 predictor variables could explain 19.8 % of the amount of variability of exercise participation, including gender, the body images, the dietary behavior, the self-awareness of health, the concern of obese, the body part satisfaction, and the dietary attitude. Also, 5 predictor variables could explain 9.8 % of the amount of variability of dietary behavior, including gender, the exercise participation, the self-awareness of study pressure, the concern of popularity of being slender, and the concern of obese. Last, 6 predictor variables could explain 18.2 % of the amount of variability of the body images, including the dietary behavior, the self-awareness of health, the self-awareness of body figure, the weight-control behavior, and the belief of being more confident of model-figure. 7.Senior high school students maintained negative cognition of the body image, insufficient in the knowledge of nutrition and deficient in exercise participation. Finally, relevant discussions would be put forward based on the results of the research for the reference of the design of the school curriculum, activities, exercise popularization, and nutrition education.
