But how to make production processes being “smart” on the existing machine. Most of the industries in Taiwan are small and medium-sized enterprises. As a result government had ordered smart machine boxes coaching program to assist domestic machinery industry. This research will use embedded chip, sensing and control technology, LoRa communication technology and MQTT communication technology develop a smart machine box that can be used for old machine tools. Our smart machine box is a plug-in kit to transmit sensor data by LoRa wireless network for traditional machines without CNC. Machine with CNC, we use SkyMars to capture data from CNC server. As a result we can upload data to cloud servers which is cloud-based monitoring systems by MQTT. Than analysis these data in a simple and cheap way by plug-in method.
