According to surveys, among all age groups, elderly individuals have always been the group with the lowest Internet access rate, but in recent years, there have been signs of an increase in the access rate, indicating that the digital gap between generations is shrinking. As human beings experience deteriorating eyesight, response ability, and other physiological functions with age, it is also mentioned in the literature that degeneration can easily cause elderly individuals to suffer from problems in operation cognition and identification when using web pages. In particular, the current mainstream responsive web page interfaces mainly have relatively simple designs with large-area buttons and menu items, which are very different from those of traditional web interfaces. Therefore, the purpose of this study is: 1. To compare the operation performance of elderly individuals on traditional web pages and responsive web pages; and 2. To explore the preferences of elderly individuals in using web pages on smart phones. This study takes health websites as samples, integrates health websites with the highest usage rates, and creates virtual websites based on the common elements. In the experiment, the principle of confrontation balance was adopted, and the subjects were asked to perform task operations in the way of switching among web pages. Then, the SUS scale and NASA-TLX scale were filled in, and finally, the subjects were interviewed. In this study, the experiment data were input into Excel for encoding, and SPSS was used for statistical analysis. The operation performance, satisfaction, and mental load of traditional web pages and responsive web pages were compared, and preferences for web pages and emotions experienced by elderly individuals during operation were deeply explored in interviews. The results show that: (1) The operation performance of the elderly individuals on responsive web pages is more efficient than that on traditional web pages. (2) The elderly individuals have the same preference for the two web page forms. The main reason they like traditional web pages is that they can master comprehensive information and find targets conveniently; the reason they like responsive web pages is that the pictures and fonts are large, and the layout is simple. (3) The elderly individuals generally prefer clear and direct presentation, so they prefer category menus presented in text. Web page design suggestions for elderly individuals in this study are as follows. (1) Health websites can add more audio-visual items to make it easier for elderly individuals with eyesight deterioration or eye diseases to obtain information. (2) For buttons presented only in symbols, it is suggested to add color blocks at the bottom, so that users can quickly identify them as clickable buttons. It is hoped that the conclusions of this study will be helpful for web designers to design web pages that are friendly to elderly individuals. Ku, Chao-jen 顧兆仁 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW |

碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 視覺傳達設計學系碩士班 === 107 === In recent years, with the increasing mobile Internet population, more and more people are using tablets and smart phones to access the Internet, leading to a trend in responsive web pages that automatically adapt to various screen specifications.
