This study adopts questionnaire method and sampled from staffs of the foreign company in Vietnam, with 300 distributed and 256 collected respectively. The results of this study show that there is a significant correlation among directive leadership style and the employee factors of age, nationality and seniority. The sample employees are mainly Vietnamese young adults with a relatively low level of seniority, shorter than three years. Therefore, they need more instructions and advises from their supervisors in work. there is a significant correlation among Internal satisfaction and employee factors of positions and qualifications, They are mostly employees and their academic qualifications are concentrated below high school, so employees pay more attention to work-related things. The results from regression analysis reveal that there is a significantly positive correlation among job satisfaction and achievement-oriented leadership style. Moreover, gender, cognitive ability and work experience are positively correlated with leadership style. As to job satisfaction, employee characteristics, such as age, marriage, education, seniority, cognitive ability and locus of control, have significant influence on internal job satisfaction. The achievement-oriented leadership style has influence on both internal and external job satisfaction.
