However, classroom design is mainly based on the opinions of teachers, designers and experts currently, lacking students ideas and participation, ignoring the actual users, the students thoughts and experience. As a result, the author planned a course for students to participate in the classroom design practice. The participants in this study were 23 sixth graders enrolled in elementary school. One explores the process and effectiveness of students participation in classroom space design courses, and understands students perspectives on classroom space and classroom space design through action research, participant observation, content analysis and interview survey. This study provides a reference for teachers and students to carry out classroom space design course activities in the future. The important conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Students’ sense of participation in the classroom increase, and the ratio of students who like the classroom becomes higher. 2. Students learn to care about and to pay more attention to the circumstances around them in this course. 3. Students like classrooms that are interesting and interactive. 4. Walls are the spotlights to students, and students like the walls they design. 5. Stutents hope that the seating arrangement is easier for them to discussion with their partners,to view the blackboard and to go in and out their seats. 6.
