Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 跨專業長期照護碩士學位學程在職專班 === 107 === Long-term(custodial) care refers to the ultimately security concept, model, system and implementation of “care”, “support” and “protection”. The facility is the basic site for human beings to try to meet their demand problems, and is also for the development of institutional & non-institutional custodial care system as the platforms, action points and strong supports. In Taiwan, the emergence and relevance of care plan in institutionalized care has still been lacking in an empirical basis for advancement to care themes or their counterparts. Hence, this study intended to adopt a qualitative research approach to understand the care management staff catching the recipient-centered care plan. Based on the interview and adopting the advanced experience, comprehensively summarize the themes of care needs, and try to outline the the content framework and specific format for the individualized care plan under our culture and customs.
Through “grounded theory” research design with interviews and integrated analysis.Interviews had been conducted from October 4, 2018 to November 14, 2018. A total of 19 subjects had been interviewed, and 20 reports available collected via semi-structured interviewing(with twice interview for one sample among workup), with professionals (17) and non-professionals (2). The data were analyzed by the Nvivo 12 Plus-quality data analysis software. After open coding, anxial coding, selective coding process and literature review had been done, it is impressed that the long-term care service model mandatorily be composed of counterparts of institutionalized and non-institutionalized care pattem with increasingly vague borderline. The institutional care pattern has its necessity, and its proportion be far less than non-institutional counterparts. Caremanagement is the cornerstone of long-term care. Through the concept of leveling or grading onto the related people, issues, time, site and materials in all domains are summarizedly implemented and managed for all and individually. A transdisciplinary team had been dedicated to develop a care plan via the assessment, operating, implementing and monitoring. Now here today, the care plan in Taiwan has no specified content & format(even without well-formed demonstration), it seemed to present just as the suppliers' to determine whatever.Rather, the risks for custodial care be ubiquitous, and it has been controlled through the care plan validation to reduce the risks.
In addition to the care plan for care management on institutionalized care, this study also covered long-term care concepts, related needs, operating & executing, i.e. integrated institutionalized care and non-institutionalized care, etc.
