Companion robots are robots that are created to supplement real or apparent companionship for human beings. Put simply, the main goal of this study is to analyze existing literature and current trends of artificial intelligence as applied in companion robots for exercise therapy in the elderly. Specifically, focusing on the exploration for companion robots as exercise companions. The research and analysis of this paper are presented via a content analysis, Google Trends, and Socialbakers. These platforms use real-world search data to analyze the type and projection of growth of worldly interest in companion robots. Using this information, this study then predicts and offer suggestions of the business and future implications and directions for the developers of Zenbo, and other companion robots for use of exercise therapy in the Asian market.
