More and more applications provide an organizational platform for enterprise teams to carry out remote management and effectively conduct project management and communication. The popularity of multiple devices enables users to conduct the cross-media operation on different devices, which improves the mobility and convenience of users’ activity. According to statistics, there is a growing number of collaborative platforms for team management in the market at present. Under the development of more and more diversified interface design and interactive mode, designers should pay more attention to people-oriented user experience to improve the operational efficiency of team management. Therefore, this study conducted usability tests on team collaboration apps in the market and compared the differences between different functions and interface designs through the experimental process, to put forward more intuitive suggestions for users. In this study, JANDI, asana, and Slack are selected as research objects. The research process is divided into two stages. The first stage is the pre-test of the research with the individual usability test as the foundation of the follow-up research. The second stage is the formal test, which includes a user questionnaire survey, semi-structured interview, and usability test. The result of the study concludes the following points, which provide design reference for the designer in the subsequent related platform planning: (1) The simplified gesture operation: The operation of a single thumb and a longitudinal thumb is more operability. And important function such as the new project, instant reply message should be placed in the natural touch area, enhance the convenience of users’ single hand operation. (2) Introduction: Before the formal operation, more complete operation procedures and auxiliary guidance should be provided to reduce the complexity of operation procedures (3) Provide the service of project progress and data chart: Users can track the project status instantly during project management. (4) Strengthen the feedback of the function: When the user mistakenly touches the backlog function, the operation error can be immediately recovered and reduced the error rate of deleting important information by mistake. (5) The backlog is placed in a single interface: the backlog is an essential function in the team collaboration tool, and a single page can be set to improve the project integration mode more effectively. (6) Essential functions should be more identifiable: The features of the new work area and switching work area should be placed in apparent positions to improve the visibility of information; (7) Functional design conforms to general communication software: Users can become intuitive in operation according to their experience and habits. (8) Optimize the fluency of interface switching: there is no direct influence between the total number of pages and user operation. Developers should pay more attention to the operation process of important information ,such as establishing a working team, joining the working group, searching for historical information,so as to improve the fluency of user operation.
