As a Daoist Encyclopedia of the Ming dynasty, it is helpful for us to understand the situation and characteristics of the development of Daoism at that time. Traditionally the research method of ancient books was about version comparison and text correction. However, in this thesis the author will try to explore the compilers’ personal perspectives, by organizing the text compilation and the basic research of category construction, then trying to understand the differences between the traditional Daoist Encyclopedia and Jade Slips of Great Clarity on the Ultimate Dao of the Celestial Luminaries. Furthermore, this study will also present how the compilers’ perspectives replied to the Taoism and its ideal profile of Daoist in the early Ming dynasty. Therefore, in order to realize the arrangement and context of the text, the author will analyze its category construction, deriving the possible material sources from literature comparison, then sorting out the compilation style from the results. Last, the author will conclude with the perspectives of compilers connecting to the situation of Daoism in the early Ming dynasty. The conclusions are as below: 1. In terms of the materials, it contained the content of the traditional official and private Daoist Encyclopedia. 2. The compilation style was influenced by the Encyclopedia of Song and Yuan dynasties. 3. This book showed a “practical nature”, close to the daily life of Taoist and Taoist priests. On the whole, it was a great work for Zhu Quan. He not only applied what he knew and learned to his Daoist life, but also intended to perfect his ideal Daoist image. Most material sources Zhu Quan collected in Jade Slips of Great Clarity on the Ultimate Dao of the Celestial Luminaries, came from the Daoist scriptures of Song and Yuan dynasties, which absolutely meant an inheritance of Daoism. Likewise, in the process Zhu Quan adapted, revised and innovated according to that period of time, surely reflecting the Daoism in the early Ming dynasty. Through this "rewriting work", it presented Zhu Quan's ideal Daoist perspectives and image as well. 張超然 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 281 zh-TW |
