Due to the large size and narrow bezel design of the mobile phone, the lens is under more severe operation condition. It will be subjected to more severe tests before mass production. In order to prevent the abnormality of the mobile phone, the supplier will conduct strict environmental tests before shipment to ensure the normal use of the phone.
This paper uses ANSYS Workbench Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Design Modeler to construct a mobile phone component Prism Sheet and Panel, and change the size and material strength of the lens to calculate the deformation, strain and stress of the lens. Since the size of the prism is quite small, it is about 10-20μm, so the analysis is performed in a symmetrical manner, and the 1/4 original size is used to establish the model to save the time required for modeling and analysis. And to evaluate under what parameters, the stress of the lens will be the lowest. From the results of the analysis, it is known that reducing the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material and increasing the resistance of the material to moisture absorption are two main factors. Simultaneous improvement of these two parameters helps to improve the reliability and stability of the product.【Keywords】: mobile phone, prism sheet, lens, LCD panel
