Enterprises in Europe and the United States are widely used to ensure their safety and business interruption insurance. However, those who purchase business interruption insurance in Taiwan are mostly large-scale enterprises. The average company does not recognize the importance of business interruption insurance. Therefore, once an enterprise encounters an accident, it will lead to the loss of property damage, and the financial losses will be caused. In severe cases, the operation will be abnormal or pause, and the income of the enterprise will be The reduction or increase in costs has resulted in a loss of profits, but the situation in which Taiwanese companies have been insured for business interruptions is not as important as the insurance coverage of additional earthquake insurance or typhoon flood insurance. Therefore, the research direction of this thesis is mainly to explore the risk perception and purchase intention of enterprises for business interruption insurance, mainly adopting questionnaires to collect data, so as to understand the degree of business interruption insurance, to explore the future of business interruption insurance. Directions, the research results are as follows:
First, the degree of understanding of business interruption insurance is not high. Therefore, the insurance industry should establish a business awareness of the risk of business interruption, or hold an insurance promotion briefing to increase the willingness of enterprises to purchase business interruption insurance.
Second, the higher the operating profit of the enterprise, the lower the willingness of the enterprise to purchase business interruption insurance.
Third, the higher the cost of business interruption insurance premiums, the lower the willingness of enterprises to purchase business interruption insurance.
