Mechanical equipment is the main tool for factory production, not only to strengthen the capacity of single machine, but also to use remote control, intelligent control, man-machine Interfaces, modularization, and connection feedback mechanisms to develop advanced models also. Under the such environment, the market demand for precision machines is increasing all over the world, and the demand quantities for ball screws has also increasing significantly. The huge orders are delivered, yet, the shorter and shorter thought put time are required. The problems of shorten manufacturing process cannot be solved effectively, then the company's goodwill might be affected because of the inability to deliver on time. Because of not be able to deliver on time which might be impacted on the profitability of the company.
Due to the implementation of Industry 4.0 worldwide, the ball screw has brought huge business opportunities to related industries. Since the ball screw is a consumable item and requires a certain level of production for the ball screw, there are only a few suppliers in the industry. The main purpose of this paper is to assess the benefits of ball screw process reengineering. The outcomes of the study indicate that the benefits of the ball screw process reengineering can reduce the number of employee training hours per month by 10 hours, while increasing the production capacity by 1/3, and the value of production can be increased by NTD352,000.
