Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土地管理學系 === 107 === Social housing becomes the major policy for central and local government to promote the residential assistance in Taiwan. However, due to the provisions of Article 4 of the Housing Act, the government has to provide at least 30 percent of the social housing for vulnerable groups. Nowadays, the property management agency is commissioned to manage the social housing. Nevertheless, the existing mechanism of property management is not only necessary for the disadvantaged people, but also requires more social services from social welfare organization. Therefore, this study aims to explore how to deliver elderly social services into social housing, and what kinds of facilities and space requirements will be required for such services by using literature analysis and in-depth interviews. The study finds the social housing should be delivered social service mechanism in the site evaluation stage. Furthermore, it was necessary to consider these conditions, if the site wiuld like to deliver the social services to elderly residents, such as the population, medical resources, government policies, and the other factors. The elderly residents could live independently; the disabled live with the appropriate social services; finally, the social service of social housing should be executed by private institute to provide the services.
