Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 運動健康管理學系 === 107 === The lifestyle has become sedentary because of the delopment of civilization. People can easily get high calorie food or high sugary food at a very low price and that has made obesity become a serious problem that modern people have to face and to solve. The main purpose of the present research is to analyze the effect of adults’ BMI on body image and their eating attitudes and to investigate the relationship among their BMI, body image and eating attitudes. The research uses the questionnaire survey procedure, recycling effective questionnaire 168, and the questionnaire information has analyzed with SPSS 19.0. The result was that: first, underweight, overweight and obesity made a significant difference on body image. Second, adults’ BMI made no difference on their eating attitudes. Third, the more the adults fell satisfied with their body image, the less chance they will have disordered eating. Based on the finding, this research suggests that companies or offices should provide health centers or wellness zone for their employees. Besides, the government, schools or the media should take the responsibility to construct an appropriate body image for adults and teach adults how to reject those incorrect body images.
