At present, cantaloupe is mainly cultivated in greenhouse. However, there are quite a lot of pests and diseases in cantaloupe plants. It’s needed to spray a large amount of pesticides during the fruiting period of the culture, but causing soil and ecological environment damage. So we hope to produce high quality cantaloupe without pests and pesticides in plant factory by this experiment. The results showed that cantaloupe grew well in plant factory by measuring pH and EC values. We knew that plants would require large nutrients when they were pollinated,one and a half months old.Comparing to the unadjusted nutrient solution, the nutrient solution with adjusted pH value increased the weight reticulate and sweetness of fruits.And the leaves were not deficient of elements and the texture was dense. The study on effect of the number of cantaloupe branches on yield and quality showed the fruit obtained more nutrients on only one fruit pollinated on one branch. The average weight of the fruits was 3515g, the average sweetness of the fruits was 15°, and the reticulate was dense. By the addition of CO2, the cantaloupe fruit has uniform net shape, large fruit shape and good nutrient absorption. No matter the difference of branches and pH between cultivation shelves, the average weight and sweetness of fruits with additional CO2 were better compared to the normal condition than the fruits without CO2.
