The study will be divided into two stages for analysis and optimization design: the first stage is application of neural network system to predict the operating time by using the patient''s gender, age, surgical type, anesthesia, etc. as the self-variation. By using the statistic method, the data will statistic to obtain the value. After, we can input some data to predict the operating time. The next stage is to apply the genetic algorithm on scheduling the operating room system. The aim is to discharge the most suitable amount of operating. With the study, we can reduce overtime rate of medical staff and reducing anxiety of patients and their families. The research implementation method is to collect the details and specifications of the operating process in operating room. Then we use the registration information of the operating room in a Taoyuan Hospital for analyzed. The estimated operating time was obtained to facilitate the scheduling system. Finally, the genetic algorithm will be used to obtain the optimized scheduling data. Also, the results will be compared with the hospital to check the last result.
