Two hundred community senior citizens of Nantou City participate in this study. The research tools by functional fitness, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, PSQI & SF-36 Questionnaire. The data obtained were processed by SPSS for windows 22.0 statistical software package to statistics by describe statistical methods, Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: 1. The average age of all subjects was 75.38±7.0 years old; the sleep score was 5.73±3.8 points, the number of sleep hours was 6.56±1.4 hours, and the ratio of poor sleep quality (PSQI>5) was higher (55%). 2, In terms of gender comparison, there were significant differences in the three functional fitness factors between males and females in standing knee-lifting, grasping back test and chair sitting forward bending (p<.05). 3. There was no significant difference in sleep quality between the two groups and functional fitness; however, there was a significant difference in the quality of life (p<.05). 4, Waist-to-hip ratio was significantly correlated with functional fitness (p<.05); no significant correlation with sleep quality (p>.05); vitality status with life quality (VT), limited emotional role There was a significant correlation between (MH) and the overall mental function scale (MCS) (p<.05). Conclusion: Men's lower extremity muscle strength and cardiopulmonary ability are better than women's, while women's softness is significantly better than men's; people with better sleep quality will have better performance and quality of life in various functional fitness. Sleep quality is very important. How to make the elderly of the silver-haired family have better sleep quality is also the focus of future research.
