As the last protective personal protective equipment for workers, laborers often ignore it. In order to prevent occupational disasters, this study was to be conducted to find out the factors that labor neglected the use of fall protection equipment by the Analytic Hierarchy Process Theory, and to provide reference for practitioners in the construction industry and government. To start with, the questionnaires were to be confirmed the validity and reliability of the experts, next, sent to the staffs of the construction industry randomly, finally, analysis of the completing questionnaires was conducted. The results showed that the effect of workers’ emotions was following by economic pressure of workers and varied operating environment in the dimension of people. The married workers more cared about self-safety than unmarried workers. The dimension of material was not main influence factors of the use of fall protection equipment. The convenience of operation was the main influence factor of the use of fall protection equipment in the dimension of environment. The greater the scope of the company was the greater impact in the dimension of labor management. Besides, it could help the safety of workers by creation of the rewards and punishments rules. Many technicians for occupational safety and health management and worksite directors had not known the fall protective equipment backwards by now. It was suggested to reduce the occurrence of occupational disasters that the government could increase acknowledge of the fall protection equipment by propaganda methods.
