Start-up development is currently a popular topic for Taiwan and Indonesia. Many start-up companies get funding and try to provide better solutions with the use of technology. For example, AI start-up Appier has received $ 33 million in C series funding from Softbank Group and other investors in mid-2017 to accelerate its product development to simplify the advertising optimization process. Expansion to Indonesia and other countries in Southeast Asia is a possible step that Taiwanese start-ups will take to expand their markets. Although this is a possible step for Taiwanese companies, there is still very little research conducted by Taiwanese about the news and market conditions of Indonesia's Start-ups. Why does a start-up really succeed in building its business while other start-ups fail and give up? Some of the reasons for failing a start-up include the absence of the right consumer, unable to find a suitable business model, high level of competition, large funding needs, a less solid team, ideas from the business itself, and also the wrong time, And many others. Therefore, we need an analysis to find out what factors influence a start-up can survive and develop, especially in Indonesia. This study will present several start-up companies that have performed well in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to be able to find out what are the success factors of that several start-ups. Hopefully, in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, more Taiwanese start-ups will emerge in the coming years. Taiwan is a stable market in terms of e-commerce development, so the demand for digital marketing is limited and the market size is small compared to neighboring countries such as Japan and China. Most Taiwanese start-ups chose to turn around and decided to target Southeast Asia as the first priority. DAI, WAN-PING WU, DAI-RU 戴萬平 吳岱儒 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 94 en_US |
