The purpose of this study is to investigate the financial positions on financial stability, advantage and disadvantage of two kinds of index composition stocks. Taiwan Dividend Plus Index stocks, MSCI Taiwan Index, and the financial ratios such as “liquidity ratio”, “asset management ratio”, “debt management ratio”, “profitability ratio” and “ Market value ratio" would be explained in the literature review . In this study, two common analysis methods of financial statements, namely “static analysis” and “dynamic analysis” would be used in the research methodology. The study used the financial ratios analysis to compare Taiwan Dividend plus Index stocks and MSCI Taiwan Index stocks, and also investigated the financial performance among them. From this empirical study, it shows the diversified trend for the two index constituents by using five financial ratios analysis. The research results have two findings: First, the financial stability of Taiwan Dividend plus Index stocks is better than that of the MSCI Taiwan Index stocks. Second, Taiwan Dividend plus Index is not as well as MSCI Taiwan Index stocks in some financial indicators. However, the performance of stock price is still relatively reasonable for MSCI Taiwan Index stocks, and also has a growth opportunity in the future.
