Summary: | 碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 化妝品與時尚彩妝研究所 === 107 === In contemporary times, millineries not only serve a practical function of wearing and decoration, but also represent status and stylish looks. At the same time, they form an irreplaceable cultural symbol of artistic values and craftsmanship.
This research creates experiments by analyzing the draping technique and increasing the stiffness of lace in different media. The new design concept is established through the evolution of millineries. The main application is the circular shape. The first experiment changes the number of cuts, the depths of curves and straight cutting lines. The draping technique of curling and folding is integrated, and the silhouettes and lines are the emphasis of the design element. The second experiment introduces lace with beautiful textures and hollowing characteristics, tests the method of lace stiffness. It studies and analyzes the stiffness of different lace categories in different media. It combines draping techniques of curling, folding, pressing, twisting and overlapping and is applied to the creations of millinery designs.
The research results show that among draping techniques, the two-cut and straight long line cutting technique shows a more vivid and diverse visual effect. With the stiffness of the lace determined by resin, the lace application is presented. The draping effects on millineries and the combination of layering make the creative design concepts more diverse.
This research creates a unique artistic style that can be transformed into a modern decorative millinery with the different creative techniques. The creative results and proposals in this research can provide broader creative-thinking applications for future creative art researchers.
