Confession obtained by aforementioned means cannot accepted as sufficient evidence. Nowadays it is rare for investigators to initiate investigation with physical force such as torture; however, the “interrogation techniques” used in practice may constitute inducement, fraud or other improper means and put investigators at risk of violation of the laws. Some studies show that the current domestic interrogation practice is similar to the Reid Technique widely used in the United States. This paper attempts to evaluate the similarities and differences between two techniques, analyze the frequently used interrogation methods according to the domestic interrogatory records, thus expose the problems of current interrogation works in Taiwan. The finding in this study is that the improved model for police interrogation which advised by National Conference on Judicial Reform still requires the integration of practical operation and training. By connecting theory and practice, a systematized interrogation model exclusive to Taiwan may be established. HUANG, HUEI-TING 黃惠婷 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 194 zh-TW
