Description
Summary:碩士 === 嘉南藥理大學 === 化粧品應用與管理系 === 107 === Butterfly bean flower (scientific name: Clitoria ternatea) is a plant of the genus Rhododendron, which have antioxidant, antibacterial and whitening effects. By quality testing of plant roots, leaves, seeds, and petals, The petal had the highest purity, and the total ash content was 2.87±0.49 g, and acid-insoluble ash content was 0.31±0.10 g. Therefore, the flower petals ware performed for functional evaluation, antioxidant analysis, whitening, UV absorption, and component content. This study explored the application on changing the amount of butterfly flowers and the proportion of solvent, to evaluated the various active functions and cosmetic potentials. The results showed that the extracts of the butterfly bean flower had ultraviolet light absorption capacity, and the C.T.E 7 with a concentration of 3% had stronger UV absorbance than the other extractions. The absorbances were 0.923 and 2.543 abs regtitively , on 400 and 280 nm, Than the total anthocyanin content is 316mg in 40g petals. In addition, the different solvents and concentrations of extracts. Resulted in different DPPH and ABTS free radicals, and different antioxidant and free radical scavenging ability, Among the extracts 3% soaked for 1 hour and the butterfly bean 50% ethanol extract. had higher removal capacity which are 329.15 ± 0.75 mg/mL and 281.89±2.59 mg/mL, regtitively the optimal antioxidant capacity extract was also used to investigate the liquid preservation capacities of the butterfly bean extracts. at was found that of 3% extraction of the butterfly bean with 50% ethanol extract for 1 hour, After extraction showed the best effect, By storing in the refrigerator for 10 hours 289.89 mg/ml. Also, it’s best to be placed at room temperature 25 °C for 10 hours (274.15 mg / ml) after extraction. CT E 7 has the best ability to inhibit tyrosinase (46.79±2.65 mg/ml.)
