With the advancement of technology and the change of life style, many household appliances have gradually developed into intellectualization, such as: smart lights, smart air conditioners, and smart fans and smart TVs. Therefore, this study proposed household appliance using the wearable smart glove for gesture controlling based on IoT in the smart home environment. The wearable smart glove is connected to the microcontroller, and the microcontroller to control household appliance in the smart home environment, such as lights, air conditioners, fans, and TVs. Using the wearable smart glove makes some specified gesture to control the functions of household appliance. This study provides many people with visually impaired and inconveniently moved can instantly control their household appliances by gesture, and enhances life quality and convenience.
