The study uses the method of questionnaire survey taking New Taipei City public national primary school as the study object. The data is analyzed by the following statistical methods: descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation and Stepwise multiple regression. This study obtains the following conclusions: voluntary role 1. Volunteers in the elementary school have higher voluntary role perception , but the level of participation in school affairs is low. 2. There are partial significantly differences of the volunteer’s role perception in different educational levels, marital status, and length of service. At the "indirect service role" side , the married group is higher than the unmarried group, the group of below the high school and the above the institute are higher than the group of college, and the group with less than one year of service is higher than the group of more than three years. 3. There are partial significantly differences in the perception of volunteer roles among school staff in terms of age. At the "Role of Indirect Services" side, the group of over 51 are higher than those of under 40. 4. There are partial significantly differences in the school volunteer’s school participation for different gender, service hours, length of service and the different groups. Classics-reading volunteers group at the "Direct Service Role" side are higher than Other groups of volunteers; Other groups of volunteers are higher than library volunteers groups. 5. There is a positive correlation between the school volunteer’s role perception and school affairs participation. 6.
