In this study, we try to explore the mental process of a mother via her descriptions of her own life story and experiences in parenting ASD Children. This study adopts the research method of in-depth interview with narrative analysis in qualitative research method to present the life course of the research participants. The open in-depth interviews were used to collect data, and the interviewees were the research participants of the study. Through the encoding and narrative analysis of interview data, the parenting process of mothers with Autistic Spectrum Disorder patients is collated. The main findings of the study are: 1.Facing the results of the diagnosis positively and establishing the confidence and proper way of rearing will help relieve the parenting stress. 2.Assisting family members to establish correct concepts of the illness and actively seeking support and cooperation from family members will help to relieve parenting stress. 3.Making good use of the medical system to make correct diagnosis and actively participate in the early intervention is contributive to the success of parenting and the relief or elimination of parenting stress. 4.Recognizing the needs of ASD students at different learning stages, choosing appropriate learning environment and helping to establish appropriate learning attitudes and habits will contribute to the success of parental education and the relief of parenting stress. 5.Appreciating ASD patient’s difficulties, seeking efficient parenting methods, and helping resolving the patient’s problem will improve parenting efficacy and avoid unnecessary parenting stress. 6.During school education period, proactively participating in ASD-patient-related school affairs and establish effective Teacher-Parent communication model, can increase parenting efficacy and relieve parenting stress. 7.Preceding procedure and active planning of parenting strategies can make parenting easy to achieve goals and relieve parenting stress. 8.Paying effort to improve parenting intelligence, keeping professional communication with medical staff and educator, taking advantage of parenting resources and educational support resources can reduce the parenting stress to lowest degree. 9.By maintenance close relationship between parents and child, both learning to be themselves, the parents learning to let go, the parenting stress will no longer be a problem. Finally, according to the results of this study, the researchers provide concrete recommendations for the medical system, social education system, educational units and follow-up researchers.
