Summary: | 碩士 === 中州科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程系 === 107 === For some areas facing increasing medical cases and lack of firefighters, the devotion of phoenix medical volunteers helps a lot for fire department. Not only do the phoenix medical volunteers greatly relieve the workload of emergency medical cases, they also improve the medical treatment qualities before arriving hospitals. However, because of the development of modern society, the public gradually arouse their awareness toward the medical treatment qualities. It can’t be effective to train volunteers just by past experience and their enthusiasm. As a result, by researching the phoenix medical volunteers’ training performances, we can explore emergency’s training methods nowadays and find out advantages and disadvantages to improve the medical treatment skills of emergency medical technician-1 in the first moments while they arrived.
This study took phoenix medical volunteers in Nantou County as example. Questionnaires and literature reviews were used to explore the medical training performance. Main findings of this study are as follows:
The findings showed only "the course of continuing educational training (review training)" and "elevating the volunteers’ enthusiasm" had significant relations. "The course of review training of new facilities" and "realizing the patient’s conditions" were significantly related. As a result, it’s inferred that the devotion of training resources(review training), the arrangements of training hours and the curriculum planning don’t meet the volunteers’ need, especially for the devotion of training resources (review training) and the arrangements of training hours.
The findings also revealed that only "experienced instructors" and "elevating the volunteers’ enthusiasm" were significantly related. "Mode 4 (basic skills)" and "good for teamwork” were significantly related. As a result, it’s inferred that the devotion of training resources (regular training), the arrangements of training hours and the curriculum planning don’t meet the volunteers’ need, especially for the arrangements of training hours (regular training).
