This platform can distribute the relevant information on renewable energy of the competent authorities, also offer the various bidding services and industrial mediation for the renewable energy industry. There are many types of researches on regenerative energy field assessment or energy technology, but there is a lack of study focus on the key characteristics of the platform. In addition, they are short of the three user’s perspective: the public sector, the stakeholder, and the strategy of applying for value-added applications. This study hopes to use the "a local government renewable energy GIS information integration platform" as an example to construct the platform technology, the platform interface, and the improvement. We used the Delphi expert questionnaire in two rounds and cooperated with the results of statistical analysis of expert questionnaires. According to the results, we understand the opinions of experts of different categories of objects. We integrate the opinions of various experts and include the conclusions and recommendations of this study, and give future reference opinions to users. The academic contribution of this study is to clarify the key characteristics and success factors needed for the renewable energy platform. According to the questionnaire and interviews, we find out the factor that should be paid attention to. We hope this GIS platform construction process can be used for reference in the subsequent domestic-related platform construction. The results of the research can clarify the collection of those data and the establishment of the database is the primary task of future value-added applications, maximize the value of the platform, and contribute to the needs of the renewable energy industry for the first time in Taiwan.
