To understand these teachers work pressure and their responding strategies through the survey and statistical analysis of the questionnaire. The author analyzes the relationship between the work pressure and the responding strategies; and draws relevant conclusions and specific suggestions based on the research findings to provide relevant units and future researchers. The questionnaire applied to investigate was sent to national primary school teachers in Dali district of Taichung city. There were 259 questionnaires sent out, and 238 copies were effective questionnaire. The effective response rate is 92%. The valid data are statistically analyzed and the results of the study are summarized as followed. 1. The work pressure of national primary teachers in Dali District of Taichung City is “medium”. The aspect of “work-loading” is the highest, and “professional knowledge” is the lowest. 2. The frequency of using responding strategies of national primary teachers in Dali district of Taichung city is “medium”. The action that “rational thinking” is the most commonly used, and “delayed handling” is the least. 3. The male teachers, whose teaching experiences was 6-10 years feel the working pressure is higher within all participants. 4. Male teachers often use the "stress-solving" and "rational thinking" to response stress from work. Female teachers are more likely to use "seeking support" and "delay treatment". 5. There is a significant correlation between the "work stress" and the "work stress response strategy" national primary teachers in Dali District of Taichung City. The highest correlation coefficient is "solving the problem", and "rational thinking." Finally, relevant recommendations are made based on the research findings to provide education authorities, schools, national primary school teachers, and future researchers.
