This research, based on action research, is to analyze the collected data by qualitative methods and quantitative statistics. The research objects are 30 kindergarten children from multi-aged class in the Northern urban area, taught by the researcher, participating in 15 weeks of physical theme course from October, 2018 to January, 2019. For the qualitative research, researcher collected and analyzed date with video records, photo records, collaborative researcher observation records, teaching weekly report, children health fitness test record card, and so on. For quantitative research, subjects had health fitness testing before and after the course, including four parts of health physical fitness: balance, muscle endurance, explosiveness and softness. Based on above information, researcher summarized the results of this study and obtained the following conclusions: Result of research demonstrates: First, after participating in physical theme course, overall research subjects have great improvement in physical ability. Second, after the implementation of the physical theme course, the research objects have enhanced four physical fitness parts, including balance, muscle endurance, explosiveness and softness significantly (p < .05). To sum up, this study found that physical theme courses have a significant impact on improving childrens motor ability. Therefore, children exercise which has to be more than thirty minutes is suggested to be integrated into children’s daily-life and theme course, also to become one of the kindergarten theme courses.
