Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 勞工關係學系碩士在職專班 === 107 === The young people are the most important assets of the country, and all the governments make the education and employment of youths an important policy. As a result of globalization, the youth unemployment rate rise first when the economy in recession, the youth unemployment rate is three times the overall unemployment rate. The economic downturn is even more serious. The number of unemployed young people has increased, but, when the economy picks up, the return of youth employment is the slowest among all age groups. To help the young people self-awareness, find a good career definition, adapte the employment changes is an important issue in this fast-changing labor market.
The concept and framework of career anchors was proposed by Schein in 1974 first. The research was focused on the transition of graduated youngman from school to employment. This theory is still used widely in career path analysis today. In this study, we use the theory of career anchors as the research method and framework, to discuss the issues of youth career development, especially on the career awareness and transition of college youth, and the analysis provided by career anchoring theory. Provide more career informations to help young people identify their career development. Through interviews and content analysis of eight college youths, the conclusions of this study may help young people about the career development.
The conclusions and recommendations of the results of this study are as follows:
1) The career anchors play an important role in career guidance of youth career development in this study. They guide young people in job search, choice and adaptation, and help to make career decisions.
2) The application of career anchoring in the counsel of youth career should focus on developing young people's self-concept and insight, so that young people can perceive the value of self-existence.
3) We should pay more attention in unclear and changing career anchors of young people, because the lack of work experience when the application of career anchors counseling.
This study suggests that we should provide more resources in youth employment policy, help young people to have more employment opportunities, education, training resources and social security.
