Several kinds of artificial Janus particle have been developed correspondingly, such as thermophoretic, diffusiophoretic, and catalytic-phoretic particles. Although the propelling mechanism at single particle level is well studied in many aspects, the mesoscopic collective behavior is still lacking of investigation due to the difficulties for handling the large degrees of freedom. Thanks to the development of computer technique, it enables the possibility to study many-body physics at mesoscopic level. Most recently, few studies show that the suspension of thermophoretic Janus particle exhibits a transition from homogeneous super diffusion to far-from equilibrium heterogeneous behavior, even the system is kept in homogeneous environment. It is worth to extend to spatial-temporal inhomogeneous environment, which is an unexplored experimental issue. In this work, by de-assembling a commercial DLP projector, spatial-temporal modulated excitation field can be generated, and is imposed to study the mesoscopic collective behavior in response to the excitation field. Our results can shed some light for complex spatiotemporal micro-particle manipulation at mesoscopic scale. IO CHONG-WAI 姚松偉 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 57 en_US
