Nowadays, people not only face the challenge of climate change itself but also the effects and disasters coming after it. The natural disasters and extreme climate get much more frequently, which seriously disrupts the economy and lives of human society. Both UNFCCC and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction call for climate change adaptation as the other strategy for climate change besides mitigation. Climate change adaptation is to take immediate measures to reduce the risk and damage that could happen because of climate change. Under the considering of the young kids are one of the high-risk groups of the disaster risk of climate change, the Convention on the Rights of the Child considers it is also the fundamental rights for children to know and to learn how to protect themselves under climate change through the education sector. The Legal Framework of Climate Change Adaptation–A Criticism of the Legislation and Implement of Senior Education in Taiwan analyzed the legal institution of climate change adaptation of education sector in Taiwan by collecting and compaction with the international documents and cases of other countries. Besides, it also aimed to clarify the legislation and implement of Senior Education through interviewed the teachers.
