Several studies have shown a strong correlation between sedentary behavior and mortality and a variety of chronic diseases. Sitting for a long time is often accompanied by poor posture, which not only causes heavy load on the joints in the body, but also causes chronic leg warping, such as partial peroneal nerve compression on the lateral part of the leg bone or nerve compression on the lumbar vertebra lumbar spine, resulting in foot hypophysis and other diseases. This study is based on a marketed seat. Without changing its original appearance and function, this study developed a posture sensor imported to detect the sitting posture of user. When the user is in a sedentary or bad sitting posture, the seat will remind user through mobile App. At the same time, in this study, a commercially available hand-pushed wheelchair was transformed into an electric wheelchair and add an IoT controller, posture sensing seat, making it a part of the remote care. The first chapter of this paper introduces the research background and purpose, and reviews the relevant literature. The second and third chapters describe the design and development of seat cushion and its optimization process. Chapter 4 and chapter 5 discusses the process of converting the commercially sold hand-propelled wheelchair into an electric wheelchair, combining with the IoT controller and sitting position sensing seat . Finally, the sixth chapter summarizes the research and the future prospects. Yeh-Liang Hsu 徐業良 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 61 zh-TW
