The instructional gaming system has two major features : multiple challenges and similar question practice. Multiple challenges are designed for motivating students to achieve goal of level and similar question practice is designed for accessing the student mastery levels of questions. The instructional gaming system adopts virtual characters (like Role-Playing Game) to increase student motivation to practice question-answering. The instructional gaming system also provides an administration interface website for teachers and administrators to manage the challenges of practice and monitor the behaviors and results of student question-answering In addition, the system shows the statistics of all students’ practice results to promote peer competition. This study conducted an evalauation to involve 60 students to use instructional gaming system after class. The result revealed that students keep on practicing to reach their challenge goals.
