A day care station provides a space for recreation and professional care for the elderly with dementia, disability, elderly from low- and middle-income households, and the elderly living alone in metropolitan areas. The “Day of the Elderly in the Metropolitan Area” is promoted to examine how the elderly of the Aboriginal people can have a better old-age environment through the establishment and provision of care services at the day care station. Therefore, this study used qualitative research and conducted in-depth interviews with stakeholders, based on the theory of performing assessments, from the perspectives of the staff of Taoyuan City Government's Aboriginal Administration, District Offices, and Day Care Stations, and Aboriginal elders. Based on experience, the aim of the study is to review the current difficulties in setting up and implementing day care services and to explore the evaluation and recommendations of the elderly for care services. Based on the analysis and suggestions, the care system can be improved. The study found that the main difficulties faced were lack of funds, lack of rights for conducting aboriginal national gatherings, loss of professional talent, skewed gender ratios at the station, and lack of labor and health insurance. In addition, the elderly evaluated the overall condition of the hardware and the professional services of the day care station and believed that there was room for improvement regarding the equipment, such as by replacing the sliding tables and chairs. The elders were active and willing to recommend and share information on their homes and relatives. Through the recommendations made by the elders, the number of services can be constantly improved.
