The main purposes are to show the influence on the teachers’ career prospects after applying different pension system, to investigate the volition of young generation going into teaching, and to examine the impact on current workplace if the teachers are forced to retire late. Furthermore, the study will provide concrete suggestions for further policy revision. The research method used in this thesis is a qualitative research, including twelve in-depth interviews with the teachers. The following are the conclusions after inducing and analyzing these interviews. 1. The calculation way according to Pension Reform is retrospective, which has created tense and hostile atmosphere in the workplace. 2. After Pension Reform, because of decreased income replacement ratio, the teachers lose trust in the government and have no security at their retirement in the case of postponing receiving their pension. In that case, a lot of teachers are forced to retire late, which causes aging manpower and has an influence on teaching quality. 3. Besides late retirement, sub-replacement fertility rate also causes the shortage of vacancies and the manpower recruitment to the new teachers. 4. There is no flexibility in the teacher education, selection, and appointment, which cannot meet practical needs. Finally, according to these conclusions, the thesis provides constructive suggestions for the government, the teachers, and future researchers for future reference.
