碩士 === 元智大學 === 中國語文學系 === 106 === Nguyen Binh Khiem (1491-1585) is welknown as a famous philosopher, an educator and a poet of Vietnam during the North and South Dynasty (Le Mac period). His poetry and his conception of human behavior have greatly influenced the later generations. In 16th century, Vietnam can be said to be a complex and volatile century, he lives almost in this century, Nguyen Binh Khiem has witnessed and experienced many changes of the country, the fluctuation of his country, therefore, his poetry is bold in its age. From the perspective of Confucianism, Nguyen Binh Khiem's poetry mainly contains the content of "express ambition" and "written article explaining a moral". His Chinese poetry expresses the benedict ideal, anxiety for the country anxiety for the people, it reflects true contemporary social art, critical of social evil, warn the greedy and violent people, opposed the unjust war, therefore, his poetry has highly educational. Nguyen Binh Khiem poetry also expressed the reclusive thought. Nguyen Binh Khiem loved nature, happy with the poor life.
