Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 工業工程與管理學系 === 106 === With the advance of human-computer interaction technology, my research team designs an interactive video playback device that is low-cost, convenient and practical, and can be flexibly combined with various sports equipment. It creates a new exercise experience by the effect of fitness equipment and film interaction to simulate the active participation exercise of the aged people and to reduce the impact of physiological aging through regular exercise. This research is to apply this device with the exercise bike, and to add the incentive screen to the exercise equipment to let the aged people carry out the lower extremities strengthening exercise. And the wearable EEG device is also applied to record the user’s brainwave status, objectively reflecting the positive emotional response of the user to the feeling or perception of the exercise experience, and supplements the questionnaire to evaluate the usability to explore the simulating effective by this interactive films and installations to the aged people.
The result show that this interactive video playback device with the exercise bike can make the aged people feel exciting, interesting and focusing, and achieving the goal of encouraging the aged people to carry out the lower extremities strengthening exercise. In terms of category, the interactive video has an incentive effect on the aged people better than the office workers. In terms of genders, the interactive video has an incentive effect on aged males better than aged females. In terms of maintaining regular exercise, it is more attractive for the aged people than the others. In terms of experiences of fell over, the interactive video has an incentive effect on the aged people who never fell over is better than the others. Through the combination of our interactive device and exercise equipment, it will inspire the intention of the aged people to do exercise, and develop the habit of exercising regularly.
