Description
Summary:碩士 === 元培醫事科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 106 === With the rapid development of science and technology, virtual reality (VR) is the hottest topic in recent years. The utilize potential of VR has emerged in many fields, including the entertainment, education and medical. The trend of people relying on computers and other electronic products has also risen significantly. It is possible to make the crystalline lens and ciliary muscle over-load by use of 3C products for a long time. Further, it causes in poor visual accommodation and makes the vision difficult to adjust effectively. This study had designed to apply ciliary muscle micro-analyzer function and automatic computer optometry machine to measure the degree of fatigue after the use of VR glasses. Hereafter, to compare the subject's ciliary muscle function, macular pigment optical density, and pupil size differences before and after the use of VR glasses. To confirm the correlation among the use of VR and the fatigue of ciliary muscle via experimental design mentioned above. The development of theoretical basis of research framework, and applied instrument was dependent on literature review. The experimental design set as one-group pretest-posttest. Total thirty participants aged from 20 to 22 joined this project based on judgmental sampling. The designed VR experimental design consisted of two parts: 30 minutes of interactive game at first, then participant’s eye function to be recorded by medical tracing equipment. Result shows that participant’s intraocular pressure and pupil size was drop dramatically, the rest examination results were stable such as eye diopter, eye ciliary muscle regulation, and macular pigment. In addition, ocular dominance will impact individual’s eye diopter, eye ciliary muscle regulation, and macular pigment. Results and findings will report to stakeholders for further application in the use of VR glasses.
