Descriptive statistics, independent samples, t-test, One-way ANOVA , and Pearson product-moment correlation were applied to analyze the data collected. The major findings were: 1.The academic stress of the students was at a level between medium and medium to high. Personal factors had the greatest influence and family factors were ranked the lowest. 2.The positive psychology of the students was at a level between medium and medium to high. The most significant factor was flow experience aspect and the least significant factor was the justice aspect. 3.There were significant differences in gender, grade and parenting styles contributing to the academic stress of the students. Female students showed a higher degree of academic stress than male students. Second grade students showed a higher degree of academic stress than those in other grades. Those students whose parents were indifferent showed the highest degree of academic stress. 4.There were significant differences in positive psychology of the students according to gender, grade and parenting styles. Female students showed a higher degree of positive psychology than male students. First grade students showed a higher degree of positive psychology than those in other grades. Students whose parenting style was indulgent showed the highest degree of positive psychology. 5.There was a significant negative correlation between academic stress and positive psychology of the students.
