Summary:碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 經營管理研究所在職專班 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among involvement, decision-making and intention to backpack in Pingzhen District, Taoyuan City. In recent years, travels, especially backpacking, have become one of the indispensable activities for many people due to the development of GDP, the promotion from the openness and transition of policies and the transformation of life styles and leisure concepts. The research objects of this study were the elementary school teachers in Pingzhen District, Taoyuan City. The content of the questionnaire was divided into four parts: personal background, backpacking involvement, decision-making, and intention to backpack. By using a convenient sample survey, 283 valid questionnaires were returned and SPSS22 was used to analyze. The results showed:(1) There are partial significant differences in the involvement, decision-making, and intention to backpack in different background variables. (2) The extent of the involvement has a positive and significant impact on the decision-making and intention to backpack. (3) The decision-making has a positive and significant impact on the intention to backpack. (4) Among decision-making, personal traits, internal conditions and the destination have mediated effects on the involvement and intention to backpack.
